McLaren has become the eighth team to launch their 2018 car, the MCL33, doing so via social media on Friday.

After a return to the historical racing colour of orange last year, that transition is now complete with the new machine featuring the papaya shade which adorned founder Bruce McLaren's early racers and was used last year on Fernando Alonso's IndyCar.

This season also marks what the Woking outfit will be a return to where they belong, fighting towards the front, after ditching engine partner Honda following three troubled years and teaming up with Renault for the first time ever.
