Van Amersfoort Racing’s Kas Haverkort claimed the fastest time of the Formula Regional European Championship per collective tests, with a lap of 1m39.924 in the second session at the Hungaroring.
This afternoon with a dry and sunny track, the Dutch driver was ahead of his teammate Joshua Dufek by just over a tenth, while Gabriel Bortoleto (R-ace GP) was third 0.278s behind the leader.
Paul Aron (Prema Racing) was once again among the fastest drivers, and wounded up fourth quickest, just three tenths away from the overall best time. ART Grand Prix’s Gabriele Minì was fifth, just 0.027s away from Joshua Durksen (Arden Motorsport) sixth at the end of time.
Hadrien David (R-ace GP), was seventh fastest ahead of Trident Motorsport duo Tim Tramnitz and Leonardo Fornaroli, eighth and ninth respectively. Laurens Van Hoepen (ART Grand Prix) rounded up the top 10 covered by less than half a second.
The field will be back in action again tomorrow morning for the first collective test scheduled at 9.07 a.m.
