Prema Powerteam announced that Kirill Smal will join the team in the fourth round of the 2020 Italian Formula 4 Championship.
The 15-year-old from Russia, who made his competitive debut in single-seaters this season, will enter selected rounds of the to gain valuable experience.
Smal, who is supported by the SMP Racing program has already shown some promise in the German championship, with one podium to his name. Not a surprise considering his successful karting pedigree, featuring outstanding results in all categories.

Kirill Smal added: “I’m happy to line-up for a second racing program this season. Italian F4 is similar to ADAC F4, but this year it has more participants, so it’s more competitive and that is definitely interesting.”
