Marc Marquez went quickest in a torrential Warm Up, from a much-improved wet weather showing for Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Maverick Viñales.
Dani Pedrosa completed the top three, with the ‘Little Samurai’ another to show a good step forward in tough conditions.
Championship contender Andrea Dovizioso was sixth.
