Mick Schumacher could make his first appearance during a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend at Hockenheim later this year.
After completing his first outing with both Ferrari and Alfa Romeo last week in Bahrain, German media suggest a run in practice one for the Scuderia is being planned for Schumacher at his home track in July.
“His way into F1 seems predestined and a test here at the Hockenheimring in the context of the F1 weekend would be an absolute highlight for the German fans,” marketing chief Jorn Teske said.

The likelihood would appear small though, given Ferrari never give up any track time to their race drivers, although a run in the Alfa might be a more realistic proposition.
Regardless of which car it would be, just the thought of seeing the Schumacher name back in an official F1 weekend session and at Hockenheim too is quite remarkable.
