Aron Canet and team mate Enea Bastianini topped the time sheets of FP3, pushing Fabio Di Giannantonio back to third after leading the session.

John McPhee suffered a crash on his out lap, which seemingly hampered his session as he ended the session in 32nd. He got back out in the last ten minutes of the session, but couldn’t put in a fast time McPhee wasn’t the only crash of the session. Andrea Migno went down at turn ten with twenty eight minutes to go, Juanfran Guevara followed with sixteen minutes to go and Niccolo Antonelli crashed with four minutes to go, all riders ok.

Championship leader Joan Mir came under pressure after having a lap removed for exceeding track limits at turn two. It didn’t seem to phase the Spaniard, as he hit straight back to top the session, He continued to improve his times, but Canet was on the move, determined not to finish the session in thirteenth. Even stuck in traffic, he pulled out a quick lap to jump from thirteenth to first but team mate Bastianini was also pushing, and swiftly took the top spot away. When the checkered flag came out, Canet put in the fastest lap of the weekend to take the top spot again, pushing Bastianini to second.
