Williams co-founder Patrick Head will return to the team as a consultant amid their current competitive problems.
The British outfit has had a dismal start to 2019 as delays caused them to miss the first two days of pre-season testing and a flawed car has left them trailing at the back of the grid.
Technical director Paddy Lowe has taken a leave of absence as a result, and it will be his position that Head will return for a short period.

Having helped founder Sir Frank Williams launch the team in 1976, the veteran of the paddock held the role of technical chief until 2011.
Since then, he has remained a shareholder and Formula1.com claims his comeback will bring “stability” as the team look to find answers to their woes.
