Formula 1 now has a full grid of cars for the 2020 season after Racing Point was the last to reveal their new design on Monday.

The RP02 had already been leaked as an image from a photoshoot emerged over the weekend, but that didn’t stop the Silverstone-based outfit from going on with their official launch in the hometown of sponsor BWT in Austria.

This season will see the water systems company become the official title sponsor, replacing SportPesa who are no longer partnered with the team.

As a result, the new car features a much more vibrant pink than last year, a livery that still seems to divide the F1 paddock.

Expectations are higher at Racing Point heading into 2020, after a year of investment by owner Lawrence Stroll to rebuild the operation following his takeover in the summer of 2018.

Indeed, it was the fallout from that which hampered their start to last season but with no such issues this year, the team is hoping to challenge at the front of the midfield and repeat their fourth places in the Constructors’ standings from 2016 and 2017.

There’s no change in the driver line-up as Sergio Perez stays for his seventh year at the team, with youngster Lance Stroll entering his fourth F1 season alongside.

This year will be the last in their current guise, however, with the team set to be rebranded as Aston Martin from 2021.

And that’s it, with Renault finally revealing a first look at the RS20 on Monday, the F1 season awaits with winter testing set to begin on Wednesday in Barcelona.
