Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi is making miracles with his Aragon comeback, missing only his home round at Misano after breaking his tibia and fibula.
The nine-time World Champion assessed the day’s running – affected by varying degrees of adverse weather – after riding his M1 for the first time following the crash.
“I’m not so bad, I am quite happy because I don’t feel a lot of pain now so the leg is good and it is good to see also.” Said the Doctor
“I feel comfortable on the bike, I don’t have a particular problem – I feel a bit of pain, but not too much.”
“For sure in the wet it is a bit easier because you don’t have to push to the maximum, so I am very curious to understand my condition in the dry, but I hope for tomorrow to be better because we have to work on the bike so I can understand if I can be competitive.
“Today was good. Bad conditions because it always rained just before the start, but there was not a lot of rain, so half-and-half, meaning it was not so easy.”
“We need to wait, we need to understand the leg in the dry, but the positive thing is that after one day it is still okay.”
