Antonio Felix Da Costa claims pole position for the first of six Berlin races and extends his Formula E championship lead by four points. 

The Techeetah driver is now 15 points clear of Mitch Evans going into the race by taking one point for being the fastest driver in group qualifying, and then an extra three points for being on pole position. 

Da Costa set the fastest time of the weekend with a 1.06.799 to take his third pole position in Formula E. Jean-Eric Vergne made it a Techeetah one-two, but the reigning champion was over three tenths behind his teammates. 

Andre Lotterer will start the race in third for Porsche ahead of Sebastien Buemi who will start fourth for Nissan.

Nyck De Vries who had a great qualifying session to finish in fifth place ahead of Jerome D'Ambrosio in sixth. 

Sam Bird just missed out on Super Pole. The Virgin Racing driver was +0.004 slower than D'Ambrosio lap time which means the Brit will start from seventh. 

Oliver Rowland ended qualifying in eighth, but the Brit has 20 place grid penalty, which will carry over to the race as a time penalty, as the Nissan driver can't serve all of those places. 

Mitch Evans could only manage ninth but will start eighth after Rowland's penalty. The Kiwi driver will be looking to chase down Da Costa in the race and limit the damage the Portuguese driver could do in the title fight in the race. 

Felipe Massa in the Venturi rounded out the top ten in qualifying. Robin Frijns qualified in 11th for Virgin Racing ahead of Alexander Lynn who was 12th in the second Mahindra car and was only two-tenths down on D'Ambrosio's group qualifying time. 

Maximilian Gunther will be starting in 13th for BMW, and he is ahead of his fellow countrymen Rene Rast who qualified 14th in the Audi ahead of Lucas Di Grassi. 

Edoardo Mortara qualified in 15th with Stoffel Vandoorne only in 16th in the second Mercedes. Alexander Sims was 17th which capped off a poor qualifying performance for BMW. 

Neel Jani was 18th in the second Porsche car with Oliver Turvey 19th in the NIO. Nico Muller will start 20th in the Dragon with Di Grassi in 21st after a mistake in qualifying.

Daniel Abt qualified in 22nd in the second NIO car and Sergio Sette Camara in 23rd on his debut. James Calado will start last but took a 60 place grid penalty. The brit will have a big-time penalty coming his way in the race.
