Nine-time World Champion heads out on track for a trial run – and will decide on Wednesday whether to attempt riding at Aragon.
Since an accident in training on 31st August, Rossi has been working hard on recovering from the double fracture in his right leg as soon as possible.
On Tuesday, the nine-time World Champion put his fitness level to the test and successfully completed a few laps of Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on a YZF-R1M – before rain disrupted the trial run.
As the riding session was cut short due to the rain, the evaluation of the ‘Doctor”s physical condition was inconclusive.
The Yamaha rider will therefore decide by the end of Wednesday, 20th September, whether he will attempt to take part in the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragón.
