    Nicky Hayden condition remains extremely serious, following a statement from Bufalini hospital in Cesena on Friday morning. The American is still in the intensive care unit of the hospital, and it is a guarded prognosis.

    Below is the Friday morning statement (19th May) from Maurizio Bufalini Hospital in Cesena, Italy.

    “ The clinical condition of Nicky Hayden, hospitalized on Wednesday, May 17, remain extremely serious in the intensive care unit of the Bufalini hospital in Cesena. The young rider suffered a severe polytrauma resulting in severe brain damage. The prognosis remains guarded.”
