Haas boss Guenther Steiner has ruled out the possibility of replacing either of his drivers mid-season.
After Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen took each other out at Silverstone, there was speculation the Italian wanted to replace the Frenchman with Esteban Ocon.
That was quickly denied, although rumours continue regarding 2020, and while there was another flashpoint between the pair in Germany, Steiner insists changing now would do more harm than good.
“I’m not thinking about that,” he said. “It’s part of it, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Then you just open up more questions than answers.
“You disrupt a lot of other things, so that would be a desperate move almost if I have to do that one.”

As for Grosjean, he claims he is more comfortable now over retaining his seat for next season than he was after a similarly frustrating start to last year.
“I was more worried last year than I am this year,” he told reporters in Budapest.
“Last year there were a lot of reasons that I could have ended up this year at home. I made many mistakes that I shouldn’t have done with my experience, but I think since then I recovered pretty well.
“The races, I’m happy with my performance. I think qualifying I could have been better earlier in the year but now it’s back to what it was.
“Like I say…last year there were many, many reasons for me to be staying at home. This year, I guess there are many less [reasons].”
As for Magnussen, he was also asked about his future and was much more blunt in his response…
“I’m not worried at all,” he stated.
