Lewis Hamilton has appeared to accept Marc Marquez’s challenge for a shootout in a Formula 1 car and MotoGP bike.
The Spaniard declared he would be up for going head-to-head with the five-time champion ahead of last weekend’s British GP at Silverstone, in which he was pipped to the line by Alex Rins in a photo finish.
Having picked up the story via the Daily Mail, Hamilton gave his response via Instagram.
“Let’s go bro! Can’t wait to meet and ride together sometime,” he wrote as a caption on the story.
The two five-time champions have both dabbled in the other’s environment with Marquez completing a test in the Red Bull RB8 in Austria last year, while Hamilton enjoyed a track day on a Yamaha superbike at Jerez last December.
