Campos Racing announced that Dorian Boccolacci will join the team’s FIA Formula 2 driver line-up.
Boccolacci, aged 20 and born in Cannes (France), made his debut with a Campos Racing-run Dallara F2 2018 car at the collective testing held by the Formula 2 Championship in Jerez last February. Both team and driver showed to be on an upward curve in Southern Spain and their goal is to continue on the same path coming into the season.
Boccolacci, who is of Spanish descent, a got his first taste of single-seater racing in the French Formula 4 Championship back in 2014. The Frenchman later joined the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 – in which he finished Vice-Champion– or the GP3 Series.
