ART Grand Prix’s Mari Boya has set the pace in the opening morning pre collective test at Hungaroring.
The Spanish driver set the best time of 1:40.398 in the final part of the session, which was enough to vault him to the top of the times ahead his teammate Gabriele Minì, who held the lead for almost the entire run.
Owen Tangavelou was third overall and first among the rookies at the wheel of a RPM single-seater, team for which he will compete for the first time just like Andrea Rosso, who returned in the Formula Regional European Championship this weekend.
Paul Aron (Prema Racing), the winner of the two Zandvoort races, was fourth fastest followed by Kas Haverkort (Van Amersfoort Racing) and the two rookies Laurens Van Hoepen (ART Grand Prix) and Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing).
Positions eight to ten were filled by Maceo Capietto (Monolite Racing), Pietro Delli Guanti (RPM) and Victor Bernier (FA Racing).
The second test will take place this afternoon at 14.08 local time.
